Plain Clothes Operation Victoria

On Wednesday 11th February 2026 St James Ward Officers conducted a plain clothes operation targeting drug usage and dealing in and around Great Peter Street, Christchurch Gardens and Strutton Ground. Officers were in plain clothes so you may not have seen us but we were there!!! 

We conducted multiple stop and accounts leading too a community protection warning and numerous stop and searches resulting in community resolutions for cannabis and acted as a deterrent for the area from the afternoon and into the late evening. 

We will continue to focus on anti-social behaviour and the issues faced in your community. Keep an eye out for the High Vis Baseball Cap.
